Atmospheric Glow Technologies (AGT) is Formed
January, 2000.
An interdisciplinary group of University of Tennessee faculty and staff formed a new limited liability company for the purposes of commercializing the University's atmospheric plasma technology - One Atmosphere Uniform Glow Discharge Plasma (OAUGDP). This technology was exclusively licensed to AGT by the University of Tennessee Research Corporation. The company anticipates maturing the technology into products using the Small Business Research Innovation (SBIR) program and funds from local investment groups.
