"AGT to Work With EPA to Solve Diesel Emissions Problems"
April, 2001.
AGT is the recipient of an EPA Phase I SBIR contract to explore the use of atmospheric plasma for reducing diesel soot emissions. In 1999, EPA mandated levels for particulate matter emissions to be at or below 0.01 g/bhp-hr for model year 2007 for on-road diesel vehicles. This level represents a 98.3% reduction in the value allowed since 1990.
