"AGT Announces New Trading Symbol"

KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE - (Business Wire) - April 13, 2004.

Atmospheric Glow Technologies, Inc. (AGT) announced today its new trading symbol (AGWT.OB) that has been issued by NASDAQ. The new symbol reflects the change in the principal business activity of the company following the completion of the reverse acquisition between Atmospheric Glow Technologies, LLC and Tice Technology, Inc. as previously announced.

AGT's Common Shares are currently listed on the OTC Bulletin Board under the new symbol AGWT.OB. For a short period, trading was conducted under the old symbol of TICE.OB.

New stock certificates are being issued to holders of record as the certificates bearing the Tice name are turned over. Of course, all new shareholders will receive the new AGT certificates.

AGT's mission is to advance technology licensed from the University of Tennessee Research Foundation known as the patented One Atmosphere Uniform Glow Discharge Plasma (OAUGDP™) technology. AGT is working to develop related products for commercialization in multiple large scale international markets. Management believes that the OAUGDP™ is an exciting breakthrough proprietary technology offering capabilities that other plasma technologies do not provide and is poised to capture market share in situations where other plasma technologies are too expensive and/or technologically impracticable. Many of AGT's plasma applications will compete with alternative technologies for market share position. Moreover, AGT is expanding the applicability of its OAUGDP™ technology and has targeted new market and product opportunities to create additional value. AGT's technology is the recipient of numerous federal contracts and grants. Currently, AGT is in talks to develop contracts with commercial organizations as its commercialization strategy unfolds.
